Asankary (“we”, “us”) operates the Asankary mobile application, an online store for mobile phones and accessories in Iraq. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have. If you have questions, contact us at asankarye@gmail.com or +964 750 818 0750.

Information we collect

We only collect what the app needs to work:

• Account details — name, email address and/or phone number, and your password (stored only in encrypted form by our authentication provider).
• Profile details you choose to add — profile photo, preferred language and currency.
• Delivery information — shipping address, city/region, and, if you choose to share it, your device location to help fill in an accurate delivery address.
• Order information — the products you order, quantities, prices, order status and history.
• Messages — messages you send to the store through in-app chat.
• Device notification token — an identifier used solely to deliver push notifications about your orders and offers.
• Basic usage data — app version and language, used to operate and improve the app.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To process, deliver and support your orders.
• To send order updates and, if you allow notifications, offers.
• To answer your messages and provide customer support.
• To detect abuse and keep the service safe.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the app:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (hosting of your account, orders and uploaded images).
• Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) — delivering push notifications.
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method, if you choose it.
• OTPIQ — sending the one-time SMS code used to verify your phone number.
• Google Maps — showing store and delivery locations.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Tracking and advertising

We do not track you. Asankary shows no advertising, contains no advertising or analytics SDK, and never accesses your device's advertising identifier. Because we do not track, the app never shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.

We do not follow you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising purposes.

Data retention

We keep your account and order information for as long as your account exists, and afterwards only where required for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.

Your rights and choices

• Access and correction — view and edit your profile and addresses inside the app.
• Delete your account — go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and personal profile data.
• Notifications — turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings.
• Location — location access is optional and can be revoked in your device settings.
• You may also email us to request access to or deletion of your data.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls that restrict each account to its own data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Asankary is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will always reflect the current version.
